God has given you a powerful weapon- The Sword of the Spirit

The Armour of God is an outfit of #spiritual #protection given to us for the pure purpose of protection against the schemes of the devil.

In every battle recorded throughout history various, weapons have been used to win the combat at hand. Some weapons are used for offense, whilst other weapons are used for defense.

The same principle applies to the spiritual battles we fight.

God has only given us a whole Amour suit to place upon ourselves daily, this includes: The helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, sword of the spirit, belt of truth and shoes of peace. However only one of these is an offensive piece of Armour, that weapon is: '"The Sword of the Spirit"

Like a traditional sword can physically protect a soldier in battle with an enemy.

The 'Sword of Sprit' is a multi-dimensional sword that will protect you physically, but also; mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

So what is the Sword of Spirit you may ask? IT IS THE WORD OF GOD! Jesus Christ himself used the Sword of the Spirit when he was confronted by the devil in the wilderness. The 'Sword of the Spirit' is powerful and like any offensive weapon we must use it.

“We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

This means that all of us are like knights in a battle. But instead of fighting real people, we are fighting against the powers of darkness. And instead of using a physical sword, we are meant to use the "The Sword of the Spirit."

In the #bible it says we need to resist all attacks at their onset. Don’t consider any attack insignificant. Don’t let yourself be lured into passivity or wait until you find yourself depressed, anxious and hopeless.

God has given you a weapon and that weapon needs to be actively used.
